Matt’s BBQ, which announced it would be unceremoniously booted from its MLK location, will start serving brisket and the works at Prost! beer bar, Willamette Week reports.

The barbecue cart will expand into the realm of tacos to accommodate beer drinkers and evening customers. Owner Matt Vicedomini says pork belly and chicken tacos will appear on the dinner menu, as well as pork steak.

Prost! recently purchased the neighboring Mississippi Marketplace food cart pod and plans to expand the patio as the weather improves; that means patio barbecue and beer in the summer should be hitting Mississippi soon — seems fitting for the neighborhood.

Vicedomini plans to open April 1, assuming all goes well with the necessary permitting. Until then, the truck remains at the MLK location, slinging ribs until sold out.
