Pride is coming up, which means Portland’s LGBTQ+ community will be stepping out as their most colorful, proud, and lively selves (unless you’re protesting Pride for its commodification of queerness or its erasure of the trans POC leaders of the Stonewall Riots, in which case, do your thing). Rainbow will be worn, booze will be shot, and you know the parties will be incredible. The Portland Mercury’s calendar is the one-stop shop for all things Pride 2018, but for those looking for the main events, we’ve compiled a list of the major hits, plus relevant maps that might be helpful: where to day-drink, where to party, and where to brunch if you’re getting started early. Enjoy the season, y’all.
