A new creperie arrives in downtown Portland this March. Urban Creperie will serve sweet and savory crepes all day, from versions filled with ratatouille to those hardcore Nutella numbers.
Ilya Afanassiev grew up eating crepes in his home of St. Petersburg. After his partners opened their first creperie in Nevada, they decided to work with Afanassiev and tap into the Portland market, which seemed limited in its offerings — in downtown Portland, food cart NE Creperie is one of the only dedicated creperies around. Urban Creperie will serve crepes from breakfast until dinner, with beer and wine taps, at least 30 seats, and additional options like salads and hummus. Afanassiev is particularly excited about the restaurant’s breakfast crepes, which will include versions filled with fresh ricotta and berry preserves.
Urban Creperie will open this March at 1216 SW Morrison Street. Stay tuned for more updates, and for more crepes, check out this map.
