A new spot for board games and beer is coming to Portland. Seattle’s Mox Boarding House is opening its first Oregon-based location in winter 2019, with private game rooms, a full-service restaurant, and a wide swath of beer and wine.

Mox Boarding House has two locations in the Washington area, with various private gaming rooms, several games to play, and a full restaurant with taps. Both locations have separate stores, as well, selling tabletop games and card packs to play on-or-offsite. Portland’s Mox will sit in a roomy, 10,000-square-foot space near Providence Park, with all the trappings of its other locations.

Menu details are scarce at the moment, but Mox’s other locations serve brunch and dinner options ranging from brioche french toast to gumbo. The restaurant also has a big kid’s menu, ideal for families looking for a new spot to play Risk. Stay tuned for more details on menus and more specific opening dates.
