Where to Get Delivery and Takeout in Milwaukie, Lake Oswego, and Happy Valley

Some of Portland’s finest hand-pulled noodles, Latin American classics, and Sichuan fare can be found to the south. From the bowls at Happy Valley’s Noodle Man to the roast chicken and gallo pinto at Lake Oswego’s Casa Del Pollo, the suburbs and neighborhoods south of Portland have a number of spots that are worth the drive for northerners.

Now, as many shelter in place and avoid driving into Portland, locals from L.O. to Happy Valley are skipping the Portland-area dinners out; still, many of them are more than happy with what’s right in the neighborhood, even if it’s served in to-go containers or eaten straight out of delivery bags. Below, find an assortment of distinctive takeout and delivery staples below Portland proper, for those avoiding the drive into town for takeout — or perhaps for Portlanders looking for something new. For more takeout options, readers can explore the larger guide to takeout and delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic.
