Although sushi is traditionally a meal that diners experience while sitting down at a restaurant, the current climate has forced everyone to adapt with to-go sushi. Even high-end sushi restaurants like Nodoguro and Nimblefish have had to shift the way they serve their fish, transitioning away from omakase in favor of takeout containers. While some establishments have started offering limited menus or bentos, many are still offering their full menus with limited hours instead.
The list below includes many of Portland’s still-open sushi spots and their various hours. The list is not comprehensive, instead focusing on many of Portland’s sushi staples. Diners looking for options that aren’t just sushi may refer to the larger takeout guide here.
