Where to Get Breakfast and Brunch for Delivery or Takeout in Portland

Where to find bagels, omelets, dim sum, and more

If you buy something from an Eater link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics policy.

As the restaurant shutdown continues across Portland, brunch has been one of the hardest meals to track down for takeout and delivery. Standbys like Gravy and Screen Door have closed up during the COVID-19 pandemic, while others like Mother’s are sticking to dinner service.

Still, many spots are still offering breakfast, even without the dining room. Brunch spots are packing bacon and eggs into people’s trunks through curbside pickup, bakeries are creating weekly sampler boxes for people craving their morning croissants, and dim sum spots are putting their har gow and shumai in takeout containers instead of their standard steamers. It’s a stretch, compared to the mimosa-drenched versions at cafes around town, but at least there aren’t the crowded lines (hopefully).

Below, find an assortment of breakfast and brunch options for takeout and delivery, from smoothies and juices to chicken and waffles. This list is not meant to be comprehensive, and we will update it regularly with more options; those willing to divulge their secrets can send brunch recs through the tipline. For a larger selection of takeout and delivery options, explore our larger guide.
