Reel M Inn Has Returned With Limited Takeout Hours

Back in November, one of Portland’s most beloved dive bars and fried chicken shops, Reel M Inn on SE Division, shared that it would go on an “indefinite hiatus.” The decision was made after rising COVID-19 rates once again shut down inside dining. On Saturday, February 27 the bar will return with limited hours for takeout for its fabulous fried chicken, along with some outdoor dining. Customers are encouraged to order 24 hours ahead to schedule pick-up times between 4 and 8 p.m. every day but Tuesday, when the bar is closed. All the ordering information is available at Reel’s Instagram account.

Holler Fried Chicken Pops Up With a Party Van at Bar Norman Today

While wine maven Dana Franks’s chic natural wine bar Bar Norman has yet to reopen for full service—remaining as a bottle shop for the time being—it will play host today for a fried chicken pop-up from Holler. Holler’s party van will serve fried chicken sandwiches, salads, sides including chicken tenders and tater tots, and soft serve from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out, while Bar Norman provides the wine and some barrels for outdoor dining. The party goes down at 2615 SE Clinton Street.
