Has the internet mentioned anything about the weather today? Just in case you've been under a (nice, cool, shaded) rock, temperatures are set to hit the high-90s by later this afternoon, then remain third-level-of-hell hot for the rest of the week. With that in mind, last Friday's Open Thread asked readers to shoutout their go-to coffeeshops for midday air-conditioning breaks.

Here now, a handful of places recommended by readers, but the list certainly doesn't end there. Proprietors, if you'd like your spot added to the list, speak up in the comments. This map will be continuously updated until this heat wave breaks.
