It’s served with a side of pickled veggies and can be found Monday to Thursday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Friday to Sunday, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

The Bluehour burger is a stalwart made from ground steak trimmings and topped with whiskey smoked cheddar and an indulgent foie gras aioli. It's $8 at happy hour, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., on Monday through Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Clyde Common

The Clyde Common Rodeo Burger comes with bacon, American cheese, fried shallots, Marshall's habanero barbecue sauce, and pickles, and it’s $8 during happy hour, which runs seven days a week, from 3 to 6 p.m. You might as well pair it with one of Jeffrey Morgenthaler’s fantastic cocktails — only a mere $6 for happy hour pricing.

Imperial

Vitaly Paley has a way with burgers, so he’s getting a second spot on the map. The flat-top burger with lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, bread and butter pickles, cheddar, and dill mayo is only six bucks for happy hour. Belly up to the bar for it from 2 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 3 to 6 p.m., on the weekend.

Saucebox

The happy hour menu is extensive here, and has three $6 burger options: the miyako burger with avocado, red jalapeno, and teriyaki; the Saucebox burger with Tillamook cheese, daikon slaw, and peppered bacon; and “The Berg” burger, with Thai curry aioli, togarashi, grilled pineapple, and chicharones. Maybe just bring some friends and get all three, Tuesday through Friday, from 4:30 from 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday, 5 to 6 p.m.

Little Bird Bistro

The little sister of Le Pigeon has an all grown-up happy hour menu. The burger consists of two St. Helens Beef ground chuck patties with brie melted on each, atop iceberg lettuce slaw, with house “dijonnaise,” housemade pickle ketchup, and Mama Lil’s Bread and Butter pickles on a Ken’s Artisan Bakery bun. Get it for just $6 Monday to Friday, 2:30 to 5 p.m. (6 p.m. in the bar), or from 10 to midnight every day of the week.

Clarklewis

The juicy, flavorful Clarklewis burger is grilled over oak as rare as you like it, and topped with pickled red onions, tender lettuce, and mustard aioli on a brioche bun for $7. Add a farm egg, white cheddar, or pork belly for $1 to $2 more. Happy hour is 4:40 to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, but you'll have to order the burger before 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Trifecta Tavern and Bakery

Trifecta's epic double-patty cheeseburger, oozing with pimento cheese on a housemade brioche bun, is one of the best burgers in town. And at happy hour it's five bucks off, bringing it to $10. That makes it the most pricey burger on this map, but it’s worth it. Happy hour here runs Monday to Thursday, from 5 to 6 p.m.; Friday and Sunday, from 4 to 6 p.m.; and Saturdays from 4 to 5 p.m.

Bar Casa Vale

Nate Tilden’s Bar Casa Vale offers a fine range of wine, sherries, and Spanish drinking snacks, and the Spanish-inspired burger, at $7 during happy hour (and only during happy hour), is another reason to make the trip. It’s topped with mahón cheese, shredded lettuce, and a romesco sauce that offers a slightly smoky kick to the burger. Get in here from 5 to 6 p.m., or after 10 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Parasol Bar

Biwa no longer has a burger on its happy hour menu now it’s relocated next door, but Parasol Bar, its sister establishment in the vacated space, does. It includes a number of Japanese-influenced options, with pickles, “Carl's burger sauce,” and crisp pork belly. It’s $6 and served from 5 to 7 p.m., daily.

The Jersey Burger at Rue isn’t technically a hamburger, as it’s a country pork pate rather than ground chuck. Still, topped with American cheese and special sauce, served on a potato bun, and wrapped in tinfoil, it’s somewhere between a fancy ham sandwich and an elevated fast-food burger, and it’s delicious. It’s just $7 during happy hour, served 5 to 6 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 4 to 6 p.m. and 10 until midnight, on Friday and Saturday; and 4 to 6 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m., on Sundays.

Cafe Castagna

The menu at Cafe Castagna has taken a Middle Eastern slant (again), but the legendary burger is still there for the long haul. At happy hour (Tuesday through Friday, from 5 to 6 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to close), you can snag it for only $6, with swiss or cheddar on a seeded, toasted bun. You can also find it on the Sunday Happy Hour, from 5 to 9 p.m., each week.

Slowburger

Happy hour here is Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday, from midnight to 2:30 a.m. At those times you can find a six-ounce Columbia River Reserve burger, with kimchi, green kale slaw, and a wasabi mayo on a Grand Central brioche bun for just $6.

Sarah Pliner’s modern, creative Asian-influenced menu now has a burger on it, available only during happy hour, from 5 to 7 p.m., every day she’s open. The banh mi burger, for $8, has a ton going on: The patty is seasoned with lemongrass, ginger, garlic, kaffir lime, and fish sauce and gets served on a ciabatta roll with white cheddar, pickled carrots, jalapenos, cilantro, Kewpie Mayo, hoisin, and a six-minute egg battered in panko and deep-fried. It’s insane.

Killer Burger

There are a number of burgers on the Killer Burger franchise’s “crazy hour” that are $2 cheaper, but there’s one vital reason to go here: the famous peanut-butter-pickle-bacon burger. It’s just $7.95 Monday through Friday, from 2 to 5 p.m., and it comes with a basket of fries to assure you hit your weekly sodium intake. Wash it down with $1 sodas.

RingSide Grill

Yes, it used to cost $2.95, but it still almost sounds like a joke when you hear the happy hour cheeseburger “with all the fixings” at this iconic steakhouse is only $3.95 during happy hour at the bar. Happy hour runs from 2 to 6:30 p.m. and again from 8:30 p.m. to close, seven days a week. Grab a burger and hit the green.
