Thanks to the many frozen dessert shops in town, vegan and lactose-intolerant dessert lovers can have their pick of sweet treats like fruity popsicles, coconut ice cream, matcha shaved ice, and even a vegan McFlurry-style concoctions.

While almost every ice cream shop in town offers at least one vegan flavor, this map doesn’t include Portland’s most obvious scoop shops like Salt & Straw and Fifty Licks. There’s no need; Portland has a number of entirely dairy-free shops serving a variety of frozen treats. The following map points are either exclusively vegan frozen dessert shops or those with distinct offerings, like South Indian faloodas or Hawaiian-style ube shave ice, to help stay cool all summer long.
