There's an assortment of compelling seating options at EastBurn, including a basement room complete with Skee-Ball. But the vegetation-embraced heated patio, with tabletop fire pits and chair swings, is hard to beat. Grab a beer from one of the 19 craft brews on tap.

When you're done taking a dip in the steaming soaking pool, cozy up with a beer by the mosaic fireplace in the courtyard of the Courtyard Restaurant. The wraparound brick bench gets delightfully warm.

This NE Alberta spot is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving up truffle fries and a brunch menu that lasts until 11 p.m. The outdoor patio space has a long firepit with plenty of space to gather around with friends, and the upper patio has a fireplace.

Though it's known for its tamales, Tamale Boy's brick-and-mortar location has a tasty selection of Mexican-inspired cocktails and margaritas, which you can enjoy from the spacious, firepit-equipped, outdoor patio.

Portland's most deluxe cart pod has a big, bench-flanked gathering space with a firepit in the middle. It also has Scout, a beer cart serving up 10 taps of craft brews in a range of styles.
