With almost 100 restaurants having opened since June of 2016, competition among Portland restaurateurs is fierce—if generally friendly. One way for restaurants to bring people through the door is with a great happy hour. Keep up with the newly updated Happy Hour Heatmap, featuring the best happy hours launched in the past six months or so (for established happy hours that continue to hit the mark, check out the map to Portland's Essential Happy Hour Deals).

The map gives preference to happy hour deals that fairly represent the food and drink the restaurant is known for. That way, you can save money while testing out a new spot. It not only includes new bars and restaurants but established restaurants launching new happy hours or upping their game.

So check out the amazing deals below, whether at your favorite or soon to be favorite places, such as Bar Casa Vale's $6 sherry cocktails or Shift Drinks' insane all day happy hour (Note: The points on this map guide are not ranked; rather, they're organized geographically.)
