From Mumbai-inspired cocktails and vodka-fueled celebrations topped with Russian caviar, to classic, candlelit Pacific Northwest dining, here are top picks for New Year's Eve 2016.

Almost every restaurant featured on the map below is currently accepting reservations, so hop on it as soon as possible. But you'll also find one option that isn't accepting reservations (Bollywood Theater), as well as spots with bar areas that'll be open to walk-ins all night (Tusk, Ava Gene's).

On New Year’s Eve, Javier Canteras is offering diners a five-course tapas dinner at which he’ll serve up bowls of sopa de ajo, seared scallops with a foie gras glaze, and culotte steaks with sunchoke romesco, glass potatoes, and leek marmalade. Dinners run $75 each. Another $45 will get you paired cavas, wines and sherries.
