Like everything else in the year 2020, Thanksgiving will likely look a little different this year. Normally, restaurants — especially those in hotels — host luxurious feasts for families and couples. Today, many of those places are empty. And while Thanksgiving takeout has long been an option Portland restaurants have provided, this year it’s the only option after Gov. Kate Brown instituted a second pause on all indoor and outdoor dining statewide, beginning Wednesday, November 18. Still, many restaurants are still packaging up Thanksgiving meals for families, from standards like roast turkey and bread stuffing to whole Dungeness crab with crab fat fried rice. Below is a list of restaurants offering takeout and some delivery options. Per usual, this list is not ranked; rather, it’s organized geographically.
