Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2018 in Portland

From hardcore bagpipes to corned-beef monstrosities, here's what to do this St. Patrick's Day

View as Map

This weekend, runners will take over Portland's downtown, paraders will take to Sellwood's streets, and a bunch of locals will head to Kells dressed up in green and blinking lights for LepreCon. All this means one thing: St. Patrick's Day is upon us.

Sure, Portland isn't Boston, with its street brawls and legit black pudding, but we hold our own. Portland's festivities range from quiet highballs of whiskey to green Jell-O shots, with all the expected bagpipes and bangers.

If you can't get things started on Friday with a Guinness and corned beef, no worries -- you always have Saturday and Sunday to find your inner Irish charm. (The points on this map are not ranked; rather, they're organized geographically.)
